A Long-Held Dream
Located on Collins Ave, Leonardo was born from a shared belief that Miami Beach was missing something: a place where dining felt deliberate again. The name draws from Italian artistic tradition: a devotion to craft and detail. Rather than recreate past styles, we preserve their values: authentic ingredients, refined spaces, live performance, and unhurried dining.
Behind The Kitchen
Handmade pasta from imported Italian flour, fresh Mediterranean seafood, and seasonal produce handled with respect. Highlights include an eight-hour Bolognese and a whole branzino finished tableside. The wine cellar spans Piedmont, Tuscany, and Sicily, joined by cocktails drawn from the aperitivo tradition.
Inside The Space
Deep emerald walls, gilded ceilings that reference classical Italian art, vintage mirrors, crystal fixtures, and aged wood. The bar evokes 1930s New York Italian dining. Leather menus, substantial glassware, textured surfaces, materials chosen to feel authentic and to age gracefully.
A Night At Leonardo
Live entertainment every night, shifting from a jazz trio to weekend DJ sets. The evening unfolds in three phases.
The Arrival (6-7:30 PM): Warm jazz, a Negroni in hand, the overture to your evening.
The Heart (7:30-10:30 PM): Candlelit tables, Italian soul in every course, bossa nova filling the room.
The Encore (10:30 PM+): The tempo rises, the room transforms, and the night takes on a life of its own.
